To that end, producers have established shade trees throughout their farms, allowing coffee to be shielded from the sun. Producers have also built terraces and planted ground cover crops to help manage erosion. Ugandan Coffee is quite different from the other African coffees in the fact that it is a low acidity coffee. Uganda coffee is a smooth tasting coffee, with chocolaty, tobacco, and dried fruit nuances.
