GUATEMALA HUEHUETENANGO: – Guatemala Huehuetenango Ixlama coffee comes from the region of Hueheutenango known and pronounced as “Way-Way-Ten-Nang-Go”. It is from specially selected small producers, like Finca El Paternal and Finca Nueva Palmira, from the highlands of San Pedro Necta and La Libertad, both are located within the state of Huehuetenango, Guatemala. This shade-grown coffee is harvested and brought to the mill where it is sun-dried on a patio and placed in guardiolas, then separated by color via computer and then density/size mechanically, which results in a superior bright cup.
GUATEMALA: – Is there any more of a versatile coffee that a good Guatemalan coffee? This coffee is great at almost any roast level, it works with almost any brewing style, including cold brews, French presses, espressos, americanas, cappuccinos, and lattes. If you prefer a mild but piquant cup go with a medium roast or lighter. If you prefer more of the dark chocolate/spice tones select a full city roast level or darker.
HUEHUETENANGO COFFEE: – A spice-toned coffee, richly sweet/savory in structure. Features a balanced lively acidity with a plump syrupy mouthfeel. Flavor notes of dark chocolate, apricot, plum, pistachio, brown sugar, there is an aroma of molasses and baking spices in the cup. An excellent versatile coffee to keep in stock!
